Android comes with a suite of accessibility features. For users with low vision, these include, but are not limited to:
- Visibility enhancements such as high contrast themes, fonts, and buttons.
- Inverted colours / Negative colour scheme options.
- Large text options.
- Magnifier – This allows the user to easily zoom in and out across the operating system.
- TalkBack – A screen-reader which turns all items on the screen into spoken feedback.
- BrailleBack – A feature which turns all items on the screen into braille feedback.
These options can usually be found by opening the Settings app and selecting Accessibility.
Note: Features will vary across different software versions and device manufacturers.
